Why you need to be liked?? And, it’s OK!!

Why you need to be liked?? And, it’s OK!!

January 15, 2020

Most of us tell ourselves that I do things only for myself, it doesn’t matter to me what others think of me! I’m true to myself.     And, while this sounds very nice, and certainly may have elements of truth in it, the more accurate picture is that we do things to have others like us

Despite the fact that the need to be liked is a universal human need; there are some who claim that they don’t care about what other people think; they live life on their own terms, they are authentic to themselves, they don’t worry about whether people like them or not

And, when we hear such statements, we almost envy the confidence and independence that is projected.  So, let's understand the truth behind such statements, and set ourselves FREE!!

Who the F*#@ do you think YOU are?? (or more gently, what do you think about yourself?)

December 27, 2019

A few successful years in career or business, and many of us are likely to think,

wow! Look at me, I’ve done really well, I have this big title, premium car, fancy house, large team who reports to me. I’ve achieved so much, so I’m really good! This is who I am…

The 4 Reactions of a BOSS and how to manage them!

December 27, 2019

All of us have BOSSES, and in many, many, cases most of our bosses are human – more or less – and within the wide range of normal 🤣

I say this because I’ve had the good pleasure of working with some who were quite psychotic and downright abusive.

Wherever your boss is on the normalcy spectrum, you are likely to come across FOUR types of reactions from the boss; the reaction depends on the situation, your performance, the current pressure, and of course the boss’s default personality setting.

So, don't get caught off guard! Here are four types of reactions that you might face from a boss who is more or less human; and how to deal effectively with these reactions!
