It seems that the only way a person can calm themselves, or regulate their emotional turbulence is by Yoga or Meditation…
All the popular press, the social media, and the self-appointed wellness gurus promote yoga and mediation as the only two ways to calm stress and anxiety…
They almost make us feel guilty about not doing these practices, and therefore we seem to be doomed be stressed and upset.
Therefore, today let’s talk about a cognitive way of gaining emotional calm and learning to regulate internal turbulence – without having to do yoga or meditation.
